Visits are very important to help familiarize your dog with us. We are available daily by appointment from 10:00 to 12:00.

Our kennels for boarding dogs and cats are open all year. In fact, accommodations are kept cool and shaded in summer, and heated and cozy in winter.

Our Services

• Dog Boarding

During the day, the dogs staying at the Grandearca dog pension are free to run and play on the grass with their friends, divided by size and temperament, all under the watchful eye of an expert dog lover. In fact, approximately one hectare of Grandearca’s property is used as a play area, fenced into three large, wooded pastures.

• Cat Boarding

Our feline guests are housed in spacious rooms with terracotta tiled floors. Each cat has a peaceful environment that is bright and well-ventilated. Additionally, there is the option of booking a room with an attached private garden, so your cat will be free to move indoors and outdoors as he sees fit.

• Shuttle

Our guests can be picked up and dropped off with the home shuttle service. Serving all of Rome, the “Grandearca bus” operates daily, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Getting the timing right! If you are booking pick-up and drop-off services for your pet’s stay with us, it is highly recommended to schedule the pick-up a day prior to your departure, especially for sensitive dogs who get nervous or stressed as they see your suitcase and anticipate a separation.

• Grooming

Grandearca guests can also book professional grooming services, including sanitizing, nail trimming, and shearing. Your friend had a lot of fun while you were away — running, playing in the fresh air, digging holes and rolling in the grass! If you would prefer for your pet to come home clean and fragrant, you can request the grooming service with any amenities. Professional grooming, sanitizing, nail trimming, and shearing are available.

Yes, Grandearca also offers pick-up and drop-off services across all of Rome.

How are you organized at night?

Dog and cat boarding rooms are located on the ground floor of the house where our family lives, so your pets are never alone, even at night!
